Rachel & Luke | A Couples Graduation Session
Graduation marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next — and for Rachel and Luke, it was also a moment they wanted to celebrate together.
In May 2024, we met for a couples graduation session that captured both an individual achievement and a shared milestone.
Celebrating Two Graduations, Together
I met Rachel during college, and we’ve stayed friends since. When she reached out about graduation photos, she shared that both she and her boyfriend Luke would be graduating at the same time — Rachel earning her MBA and Luke completing his undergraduate degree.
Along with separate sessions, they wanted photos that reflected what they had experienced side by side: supporting each other through long nights, busy schedules, and the final push to college graduation.
A Graduation Session with a Couples Focus
This session blended traditional graduation photos with a relaxed couples approach. We captured individual moments that highlighted each of their accomplishments, along with photos that documented the excitement of finishing this chapter together.
Rather than stiff poses, the focus was on natural interaction, movement, and genuine emotion — celebrating not just the degrees, but the journey they shared.
