Maddie & Hunner | A Fall Couples Session at Brown’s Farm
Fall is one of my favorite times for couples sessions — the colors, the cooler air, and the natural ease that comes with the season. Maddie and Hunner’s autumn couples shoot at Brown’s Farm in Erie, Pennsylvania captured all of that perfectly.
A Session Rooted in Connection
I’ve known Maddie for years through her older sister Emilee, who is one of my best friends. We met in high school, and through that friendship, I’ve had the chance to watch Maddie grow into the person she is today.
When Maddie reached out about scheduling a couples session with Hunner, she knew she wanted something simple and seasonal — photos that reflected the fall atmosphere without feeling overly posed or formal.
Autumn at Brown’s Farm in Erie, PA
Brown’s Farm provided the ideal backdrop for this session. With open space, warm fall tones, and a relaxed environment, it allowed Maddie and Hunner to be fully present and comfortable together.
Rather than focusing on a specific milestone, this session was about capturing a moment in time — enjoying the season, spending time together, and creating images that felt natural and authentic.
Why "Just Because" Couples Sessions Matter
Not every couples session needs to be tied to an engagement or major life event. “Just because” sessions are often some of the most meaningful because they document relationships as they are — easy, genuine, and unforced.
Maddie and Hunner’s fall session was a perfect example of that: relaxed, seasonal, and centered on connection.
